Mercedes Benz

The Ask: 

Using Facebook Live, extend the coverage of the Mercedes-Benz new product announcements, and help drive visitors to the show booth. 

The Plan: 

Create two Facebook live broadcasts to cover both the official presentation by the President of Mercedes-Benz Canada, and lead fans on a live-tour and Q&A of the new vehicles on display before the show opened to the public. 

The Details: 

Broadcasts were planned and scripted before going live, and promoted via Mercedes-Benz Facebook page to drive interest. Questions for the booth tour host (National Product Manager) were vetted on the fly and ahead of time to ensure that content remained engaging. 

The Result: 

rather than relying on traditional media to create the narrative, Mercedes-Bez was able to offer a unique and engaging real-time broadcast tat received over 20K view with a relatively small technical requirement

King publishing - for red bull

THE ASK:

Red Bull (client) needed an engaging social execution to drive awareness and ticket sales to a snowboard film debut event in Vancouver. King Publishing was given a very short turn around time to plan and execute remotely from Toronto.

THE PLAN:

leveraging the film ambassador (Travis Rice), King Publishing and Hub and Spoke were able to quickly build out a plan to promote and broadcast a live Q&A with Travis for fans on both the King Snow Facebook Page but also the Red Bull Facebook page from a unique location (Vancouver Harbour).

THE DETAILS:

with just a few days to pull the shoot together, Hub and Spoke was able to provide technical consultation to King Snow on how to ensure a high quality live broadcast despite being away from land. Hub and Spoke also provided copy and scheduling recommendations for pre-event promotions.

THE RESULTS:

With over 13K views, the Travis Rice Q&A remains one of King Snow’s highest viewed videos without any media spend. Client was also pleased with the speed and quality of the ad hoc production.
